First edition. 12mo (17 cm). 16 pp. Illustrated from photographs (interior views). “A great work for humanity, this institution, established in Richmond, Virginia, fifteen years ago, began its great service for humanity in Hinton, West Virginia, some five years before.” Three 1-page printed letters, touting the work of Fred C. Kellam, offprints from a contemporary booklet of testimonials, are laid in. Despite ongoing conflicts with city officials, the Kellams operated their miracle cure “hospital” until 1930.
