Lynchburg, VA: Printed a Virginian Job Office, January 16, 1869, Vol 1, No. 1. Broadside, 10 x 8 ¼ inches, printed in three columns the initial issue of this scarce market periodical, giving wholesale prices for products, some local, including apples and other agricultural items, nails, N.C. Herrings, ginseng, nails, Virginia salt, and tobacco [150 or so items total]. Includes a lead-off ad for McKinney, Hall & Boyd, Grocers and General Commission Merchants (in Lynchburg). Apparently not recorded on OCLC. Old fold lines, some browning at two fold corners, but a very good example of the initial issue of a post-Civil War price-current periodical. Item #70803
