(1) The pleasure of your company is respectfully solicited at a Complimentary Ball to be given to the Montgomery Greys, 1st Infantry Battalion, Alabama Volunteers, at Their Armory, Wednesday Evening, April 28, 1875 [complete text of the invitation, a bifolio printed in gilt below a purple engraving of a shield featuring the American Eagle, flags, a cannon and a drum]; the integral leaf prints in purple the names of those on the committees for reception and arrangements. (2) Ninth Annual Ball: Montgomery Greys at Their Armory, Tuesday, January 23rd 1883, at 8:30 P.M. [complete title, a handbill printed within an elaborate patriotic frame, with the names of the Ball committee printed below, a lithograph executed by Krebs Lith Co, Cincinnati]. Central fold, a little separation from each side. (3) The Montgomery Greys Thirty-Second Annual Ball [to be held February 16th, 1920]. Organized 1860-1920 [complete title, printed in gilt inside a gilt oval decorated with two American flags to each side, a gilt American Eagle at the head, and an American shield and banner at the bottom]; the interior three pages print various committee members, verso of integral leaf prints the names of the organizations officers.
