Includes notes from each day’s sessions, lists of churches and ministers, committee reports, including membership and financial reports, etc., the chart at rear offering details about each church. Ownership signature “Jno. B. Adger” at head of front wrapper; Adger (1810-1899), a Charleston native, served as a missionary in Turkey, translated the Bible and other religious text into local languages, helped found and was the original minister at Zion Presbyterian Church for “free and non-free” Blacks in 1849, and served as a professor at Columbia Theological Seminary after the Civil War (cf. Wikipedia). Original printed pink wrappers (a little wear along spine). Very good copy only of a scarce imprint. Item #69933
