Lynchburg, TN: Board and Aldermen of Lynchburg, 1885. Broadside printed on linen, 16 x 11 1/2 inches, the head in larger bold type. "8. It is hereby declared to be a misdemeanor to carry any pistol, dirk, swordcane, or stiletto concealed upon the person." These ordinances deal heavily with law and order and the safety of citizens, proscribing drunkenness, lewd behavior of various sorts, brawling, general disruption of the peace, etc. The Jack Daniel's Distillery is located nearby.
