Engraved map with hand-coloring, 20 x 30 inches, the United States and territories (12 ¼ x 19 inches to neatline), with maps of harbors at New Orleans, Mobile Bay, Pensacola Bay, Key West, Savannah, Charleston, Hampton Roads, Washington, and Baltimore (each about 3/12 x 3 1/3 inches) along edges at bottom and to the right of the large map, the whole enclosed within an ornamental border. From Johnson’s 1862 New Illustrated Atlas (pp. 20-21). Stevenson Civil War Maps 1396: “States and territories are depicted rather than military divisions.” Matted, very good. Item #69243
