Five-pages, approximately 500 words, signed by 49 members at the end. “Upon the Democratic party mainly must we rely to check Radicalism now threatening to overthrow the constitutional Government of our Fathers, blot out Sovereign States, and subvert the liberties of the people … [and to] make it efficient, in promulgating its principles and to defeat the evil machinations and purposes of its enemies whether sought to be accomplished at the polls or by fraud and violence elsewhere … to devote ourselves to the work of reclaiming our beloved country from the misrule of a band of desperate fanatics, corruptionists, and conspirators.” Brad-bound at top, some storage soiling, but very good.
