A floor plan and seating chart for the Ohio Constitutional Convention of 1850. At the head of the chart is the desk of Convention President William Medill of Fairfield Co. The Ohio Constitution of 1851 established for the first time the office of Lt. Governor, and Medill was elected its first occupant, later serving as Governor. Medary was the official printer to this convention. OCLC records a similar "Plan" printed by Medary but with a slightly different title and of a different size, citing Morgan, Ohio 8950. Item #67645
