Wolfer, and the raising of the grandchildren in G.F. von Beck's home in Rondout, NY, but primarily summarizing the money dealings with one grandchild, who had brought legal action against him. Von Beck invested in the grandson's businesses, first building a Propeller to ply the waters of Rondout Harbor and New York Bay, and then entering into the Malt business with him at von Beck's Malt House at South Rondout.
