Louisville, KY: The hotel (John P. Morton & Co., Printers), 1872. Two examples from the same month, Sunday, March, 10 and Friday, March 22, 1872. Each 8vo. (4) pp., with the “Dinner” menu verso of title, a “Wine List” recto of integral leaf, and an illustration of the hotel’s Memphis sister establishment verso of the integral leaf. The extensive wine list includes a selection of “Native Wines.” There are no overlapping choices on the two “Pastry” selections, 11 on Sunday, 8 on Friday, or “Entrees,” 10 on Sunday, 8 on Friday; there is no “Fish” course on Sunday; the other selections, soup, “boiled,” “roast,” cold dishes, game, vegetables, relishes, and dessert, may have one or two changes, but are essentially the same. OCLC locates several copies from another 1872 date. Original wrappers, with an illustration of the hotel and text enclosed within an ornamental border. Very good. For the pair, Item #67186
