Black ink music and lyrics in a legible hand, with later additions and directions in red ink. Includes “The Silver Moon,” “Twas within a Mile of Edinburgh Town,” “Peter Piper,” “When War Unfurls His Banner Bright,” “Hail to the Chief,” “The Tiger Hunters,” “The Trumpet Sounds a Victory,” “Highland Mary,” and “Shakspear’s Loadstars,” among others. One song includes the directions “Designed to be sung by 2 male and 2 female voices. Viz Edmund, Nicholas, Rachel and Susan,” their parts designated by name on the music in red ink.
