Soulie de Morant (1878-1955), French scholar and diplomat, introduced acupuncture to the west and translated Chinese and Japanese literature; Bedford-Jones (1887-1949), an American novelist and contributor to pulps, produced almost all of his large output during the period, 1914-1928.
