Prize-binding leaf completed in ink for Herbert Ivo de Keaton Bond (1879-1953) and signed by Eton’s headmaster, Edmond Warre in 1897. Publisher’s tan calf, boards framed with an ornamental rule enclosing a gilt-stamped school shield, Leather label and gilt rules and ornaments between raised bands on spine, gilt turn-ins, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt, by R. Ingleton Drake. Foxing to endpapers and frontispiece, offset from frontispiece to title page, but a very good copy in an attractive binding. Item #66970
