Includes a brief overview of the department and the work of the relief association, and biographical sketches, with portraits, of leaders and officers; also includes substantial promotional material about Birmingham. OCLC locates one copy (Alabama Archives & History). Original printed gray wrappers (some storage soiling, lower spine corner with some chewing, no loss of text), stapled, pictorial paper onlay from a photograph of a horse-drawn “fire engine” on upper cover. Good solid copy of a rare publication covering the Birmingham fire department, apparently the second in a series of three annual issues. Item #66839
