Small 8vo (20 cm). 8 pp. At head of first page “Executive / Department”; the explanation for the edition, from the first page: “Representation having been made to this Department of the inconvenience the magistrates are under from not being able to procure copies of the law to regulate their proceedings, It is Ordered, That five hundred copies of the unrepealed enacting sections of the act passed the 9th of February 1897, [title as above}, embracing Justices Court, be printed and forwarded to the several Counties, so that each Justice maybe have it in his power to carry the law into effect. Thomas Johnson, Secretary.” Apparently not recorded in American Imprints or the De Renne catalogue, or on OCLC. Removed from a bound volume of pamphlets (thoroughly browned, outer edge trimmed, with the loss of several letters on one leaf). Good copy of a rare Georgia imprint. Item #66437
