Photograph. 40 x 48.5. Mounted on gray pasteboard, which is framed by a printed mat 56 x 71 cm. The names of all the committee members, both present in the photo and those present by proxy, are printed on the mat, and listed by state (and including one representative from Indian Territory). The mat shows wear to edges and small piece from upper left corner missing. Written in the plate of the photograph "Copyright 1895 by G. Prince." George Prince was a major photographer in Washington, DC during the time his now better known competitor Matthew Brady was active. He photographed the William McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt inaugurations among other events. Item #66335
