The book presents a religious justification for southern slavery as “the best instrumentality for the conversion of Africa.” With a short pencil ALS from the publisher on verso, offering the book at a wholesale price of $1 per volume. Apparently not recorded on OCLC (the book is fairly common). Folded, printed price ($1.25 per copy) changed to $1.50 in pencil. Very good. Item #66318
