SPRAYING YOUNG (FRUIT?) TREES, in a photograph (4 7/8 x 6 7/8 inches, mounted to larger card stock, the photo framed by a bold black rule).

No identification of place or date [ca. 1910?]. The image features a young African-American man standing in a wood horse-drawn wagon, pumping liquid from a wooden barrel, while a white farmer holds the spraying nozzle close to one of perhaps a dozen small bare trees planted within a grassy fenced plot, with another man and other agricultural implements in the background; the men are dressed for cooler weather and the horse wears a blanket. Very good. Item #66312
