Utica [NY]: Oct. 26th, 1833. Broadsheet. 33 x 20 cm. Wrinkled, with a vertical tear in the text, affecting a few letters. Apparently unrecorded. On the verso, dated 5 Sept. 1832, is printed a letter from Jervis to William Small and Associates at Herkimer, concerning a plan for developing the Herkimer Water Power Company by excavation in order to provide sufficient water resources. Jervis, a Civil Engineer, refers to this letter in the communication to the Directors on the recto, where he writes more generally of the project which concerns developing Herkimer to become a woolen manufacturing town.
