New York: The magazine, [1905 or 1906]. Advertising poster, 16 x 11 inches, printed in red and blue on pink paper, the headline in large all capitals. “Equal Rights to All / Special Privileges to None” below the Liberty Bell; Volume one, number one was published March, 1905, and the final issue under this name was published in February, 1906. Watson (1856-1922) was an important voice in the populist movement of the late 19th century, but embraced White Supremacy after 1900, voicing his views, racist, anti-Catholic, and anti-Semitic, in publications he edited, especially Watson’s Magazine and The Jeffersonian. This poster apparently unrecorded on OCLC. Old folds, but very good. Item #66004
