Each series includes plates from photographs picturing six historic houses in Athens, Georgia, enclosed in a folding envelope, with a paragraph of description for each printed on the verso of the title leaf. Photography by Richard Vanderpool. Each series signed by Susan Frances Barrow Tate (1908-2003), longtime librarian at the U. of Georgia and a local historian (possibly the “editor” of this work).
