Millbury, MA: The author, 1843. Printed broadside, 10 x 8 inches, the title in a large display type. “The subscriber, having used up all his old customers, and finding that he can no longer get a decent living by duping the people, has determined to quit these diggings, and go to parts where he is unknown. He therefore offers for sale his entire stock in trade, presented in four numbered paragraphs (e.g., “His right and interest in several widows’ leg-I-sees.”).” He offers a $500 reward to any person “who will give him a good birth [sic] under the government – always excepting close quarters, like those at Charlestown or Sing Sing.” Humorous broadside.
