Lovely image of the hotel with people strolling on the sidewalk in front of it, and a horse-drawn carriage in the street. Printed below the illustration is a list of hours for meals at the hotel, and places of interest in and about Quebec, including a notice that the Regimental Colours are Trooped in the Esplanade every Weds. and the 17th Regiment will Parade on the Plains of Abraham every Thurs., the Military Band will also play in the Governor's Garden every Weds and Sat. Text and illustration enclosed in a decorative border. Old fold lines, with some separations where folded, reinforced with Japanese paper on verso, a tender copy. Verso of the broadsheet prints a promotional advertisement and the preface to the third edition for "Quebec: As It Was, And As It Is," for sale only at the Hotel and the Falls of Montmorenci. "The book, though not without interest to residents, is chiefly designed for visitors, who, through its pages, will be directed to the most remarkable objects in the city and its environs."
