Photograph album containing 61 images (3 3/8 x 3 1/8 to 3 7/8 x 4 7/8 inches) mounted on 25 leaves (with two blank leaves at the end), documenting the hunting excursions of Henion and up to seven friends. 47 of the photographs are dated by month and year, most are arranged by trip (though not chronologically), and most picture some combination of hunters, equipment, including guns, campsites, and bagged game or fish: July 1901 (trout fishing, 13 images), August 1903 (upland game bird shooting, with a pair of setters, 8 images); October 1903 (upland game bird shooting, with a horse-drawn wagon, one image); August 1902 (trout fishing and upland game bird shooting, 16 images); June 1902 (upland game bird hunting, one image); July 1903 (deer hunting, with numerous bagged deer, 12 images); July 1899 (one cyanotype, horse-drawn hunting and fishing wagon); July 1904 (deer hunting, two images); September 1905 (pack train to mountains, two images); October and November 1905 (waterfowl hunting, with strings of bagged game, 4 images); and a single undated image at the end of Henion (assumed) with pack mules. An excellent vernacular photograph album featuring hunting and fishing in Oregon.
