Old fold lines, splits and wear along several folds affecting a letter or two, some edge chipping, upper right corner chipped away, affecting the exclamation point printed after "auction." A clean, but tender copy.
The trustee John W. Noyes advertises several parcels of land "comprising a part of the Derry, N.H. estate of Nathaniel H. Brown, and held by me in trust." The eleven parcels are named and described, the sale to commence at the first parcel Beaver-Brook Meadow, and continue until all lots are disposed of. Nathaniel Hazen Brown (1834-1909) was a Civil War veteran, serving in the 4th N.H. Infantry, and the 1st N.H. Cavalry during the war. He was promoted to Captain in 1864.
