Promotional for the town, “perhaps the finest resort on the whole New Jersey coast,” and its centerpiece inn, a viewbook featuring the inn, private residences, and public buildings; includes a long list of “cottage” owners, signed in type by Edwin P. Benjamin, President of the Coast Land Improvement Co., the developer. The original inn was destroyed by fire in 1903. Cover title: Allenhurst and Allenhurst Inn from Lake to Ocean.
