Springfield, [MA]: Republican Office Print, [1841]. Broadside. 24 x 19cm. Closely trimmed to edge of decorative border on three side, and lacking the decorative border on right side. The only copy found on OCLC, at Delaware Univ., measures 31 x 23cm. Not in AMERICAN IMPRINTS. The 'Order of Exercises' was broken into seven parts: 1. Hymn written for the occasion. 2. Prayer. 3. Address. 4. Hymn written for the occasion. 5. Prayer. 6. Dismission Hymn. 7. Benediction. The two hymns written for the occasion are each six stanzas of four lines in two columns and the only 'exercises' printed in full. Rubbed spot to paper affects a couple of words in the second hymn. Springfield Cemetery was dedicated on September 5, 1841. Item #65226
