[Houston, TX?]: np, nd [ca.1919]. Brown paperwraps, stapled. 15 cm. 16 pp. Black lettering and a small decorative vignette on front cover. A list of officers, directors and members printed on verso of front wrapper. A very good copy. Camp Sterett was organized "for the purpose of making and maintaining a pleasure resort for the benefit of its members and their families...." The officers, J.W. Reynolds, J.S. Bonner, and C.F. Ireland were all listed as bankers in Houston in the 1919 Rand McNally Bankers Directory and the Bankers Register. Numerous regulations governed the conduct of members regarding hunting, fishing and bathing in and about the premises, including rules related to killing game "upon the preserves of said Club," reserving blinds on the lakes by drawing lots for the next day, "no trapping, netting, or any device whatsoever shall be used, other than hook and line, for the purpose of catching game fish," etc. OCLC lists two copies: Houston Pub.
