[Philadelphia, PA: np], 1835. Broadside. 40 x 28.5 cm. Selling three pieces of property "seized and taken in execution as the property of John Eggleton...." Signed in type by Benjamin Duncan, Sheriff, Sheriff's Office January 20, 1835. The property which was to be sold on January 31st, was located in what appears to be the Old Kensington area of Philadelphia, a primarily Catholic working class neighborhood. Written in the left margin in ink, seemingly in a contemporary hand, is a note that Sam'l. Harvey bought each of the properties. Several old fold lines, else a very nice example. Not found on OCLC.
