Richmond, VA: Bailie & Gallaher, printers, 1837. Broadside printed on silk, 33 1/4 x 27 inches, the head in bold capitals, the whole enclosed within an ornamental border. The address closes with a warning: "It is from within, among yourselves -- from cupidity, from corruption, from disappointed ambition and inordinate thirst for power -- that factions will be formed and liberty endangered." Not in Sabin (which records only two later pamphlet printings). Not in American Imprints (which does record pamphlet printings in Harrisburg, Pa., Raleigh, N.C., and Washington, D.C., and a Paterson, N.J., broadside). Hummel 3625 (Virginia Historical Society). OCLC locates two copies of this printing (American Antiquarian Society, Indiana) and other broadside printings on silk from New York and Albany.
