Old fold lines, overall toning of sheet, old tidelines and small rust marks and holes at edges (likely from having been posted), chipping to margins, especially along the right edge, but no loss of text, small cloth tape repairs on verso along a few folds. Signed in type by Edward H. Robbins, Speaker of the House, and Samuel Phillips, President of the Senate, on June 28, 1798, approved by Gov. Increase Sumner, and attested a true copy by John Avery, Secretary. Ink note on verso: "Law of the Commonwealth [on?] Profane Cursing to be read at the annual meeting in March or April."
