NP: np, ca. 1825. Broadside, 10 x 5-5/8 in., nine four-line stanzas within an ornamental border. Paper browned and a little stained, trimmed right down to border, small piece of ornamental border missing from lower left corner. Not in AMERICAN IMPRINTS or OCLC. The poem commences: "Come all you jolly sailors bold, and listen unto me...." The packet Albion of the Black Ball Line left New York on April 1, 1822 bound for Liverpool. It was wrecked off the coast of Ireland three weeks later. Forty-five of the fifty-four persons aboard perished. Item #63898
