[18], 159, [1] pp. Nice example of a period leather American binding with raised bands on spine. Moderately scuffed, corners worn through. Owner's lengthy inscription on front free endpaper, in part: "Hallet Gallup his book bought by him at the printing office the thirty-first day of August, 1784. Price four shillings." On the blank leaf in rear he states he was married to Molly Bartlett Dec 23, 1784, followed by a small poem which he apparently wrote for the occasion.
