With the ownership stamps of Captain Elmer L. Johnson who commanded Charlottesville's Monticello Guard on the Mexican border in 1916 and in France during World War I and two pencil additions to the text in an unknown hand. A little adhesion damage to two leaves at the hinge (not affecting text), but very good. Original gilt-stamped black cloth. (10080). Item #63608
