(2), 216, (18, addenda and index). Illustrated from photographs and paintings, plates, mostly portraits, street plan of Key West, Florida. Senac was a Confederate paymaster who traveled to England with his family in 1863 to pursue the young country's interests; his daughter met another Confederate agent, Henry Hotze, at that time and married him in 1867. Inscribed by the author on the verso of the title page. A little light foxing, some marginal markings, else very good. Original illustrated glazed boards (rubbed). (9993). Item #63417
