Printed broadside extra, 9 1/2 x 2 7/8 inches, presenting "breaking" news related to Civil War issues in four reports in nine paragraphs: Possible work toward exchange of prisoners from New York, possible recognition of the Confederacy by England from Washington, news do reinforcements for Burnsides' North Carolina expedition from Annapolis, and news of the fall of Galveston, a move against Nashville, and an attack on New Orleans from Richmond. Crandall 5246 (for two different extras held at the Boston Athenaeum).
