Washington, D.C. 1882. 20 1/4 cm. 7pp. typescript. Bound in black leather joints split and worn. Gilt stamping on cover. Embossed stamp of the Post. Signed by the Commander, Adjutant, and three members of the Committee on Necrology. Eustace, a Frenchman, had served as a Private in the Civil War even though he had been trained in France as a civil engineer. His skills recognized, he was detailed to Gen. Peter S Michie Chief Eng. of the Army of the James. He died on May 17, 1895 and was buried in Arlington by his Post with Grand Army Honors. Item #62749
