Several editions seem to have been published about the same time. 12mo. 79 pp. Illustrated from photographs, plates, frontispiece and another plate are portraits of former slaves. Adapted from an address delivered by the author, a former Confederate soldier and Methodist minister, at Emory in 1904, a nostalgic view of the old south brought to an end by the Civil War. Adhesion damage to verso of front wrapper and verso of frontispiece, a good copy only. Original decorated red wrappers (rubbed, spine repaired), printed in white and green (rubbed, faded). (9315).
