Not in Haynes or Thornton. Clark Old South I, 81: "The author, a Quaker missionary, made three trips to America [1706-1707, 1721-1723, and 1736-1738]. He landed first in Maryland where he was received 'with great cheerfulness'; he traveled in Virginia and North Carolina and had 'many strengthening and comfortable meetings,' though he traveled 'with great difficulty and hazard.'" Early owners' notes and names on endpapers, but a quite good copy in an unrestored contemporary American binding. Contemporary calf (rubbed, spine ends chipped, corners bumped), remains of label on spine, thin blind rule framing boards. (9210). Item #62474
