(8) pp. of ads, plus the season's at home schedule, instructions on how to score a game, etc. The score card for the game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the New York Giants has been filled in in pencil. Final score for the May 26, 1919 games is written in pencil on the front wrapper: Giants 4, Pirates 3. Old vertical fold line, some wear to edges, else a good copy. The Giants played at Polo Ground IV from 1911-1957. This 1919 game pitted manager Hugo Bezdek and the Pirates (including players Casey Stengel, Wilbur Cooper, etc.) against manager John McGraw and the Giants, (including players Ross Youngs, Rube Benton, etc.). Five days before this game was played the Giants traded Jim Thorpe to the Boston Braves for Pat Ragan. Item #62161
