Holliston, [MA]: np, 1891. Two advertising handbills, 9 3/4 x 6 and 9 5/8 x 6 inches, employing several sizes and styles of type, listing the casts for an interlocutor, tambos, bones, and pianists, and the performers for musical selections, for solos and groups; the first evening's cast was all men, the second all women ("Series Number Two will be given by the Ladies, tomorrow Evening"). Tunes included "Der's gwine to be a weddin'," Mary's gone wid a coon," "Happy Whistling Coon," "Four little curly headed coons," "Swing dose Gates ajar," "We'll raise de roof to-night," "Dar's music in dese shoes," and "The Fancy Colored Ball." The date "26" [should have been "27"] was not changed in the handbill for Wednesday. Unrecorded on OCLC. A little browning and soiling, but very good. (8671). Item #61685
