Includes a two-page history of the church, biographical sketches of the pastor, Edward Keys, and his wife, portraits of other members and church groups (choir, ushers, etc.), lists of church patrons and deceased "founders and pioneers" of the church, etc.; ads for local businesses, some illustrated, primarily from the African-American community. Not recorded on OCLC. Accompanied by two programs for church services, one from May, 1952, featuring the mayor of Ashland as speaker, the second a Women's Day program from June, 1952. Good copy of a scarce publication, the two programs very good. Original illustrated red wrappers (rubbed, faded around the edges, spine partly eroded, some old staining), stapled.
