"First appearance of the famous matador Miguel Gallardo and the classic expert matador Julian Rodarte, 20 years old ... 4 ferociuos [sic] Malpaso bulls ... their first appearance in the border bull rings since 1910 ... only large cities have the chance of seeing this high class fight with Matadors who bring a record from Spain and Mexico." Apparently issued as an advertisement for an excursion train running from Houston, Corpus Christi, and "intermediate points" to Matamoras, Mexico, just across the border from Brownsville, Texas, for the bull-fight.
