[Hagerstown, MD?]: nd [1920s?]. Architectural rendering for a proposed new hospital, 8 x 12 3/4 inches [on the mat below image, titling, 1 x 15 1/4 inches; mat 14 x 21 1/2 inches]. Depicts a three-story brick building with a basement and flat roof, front two-story portico at the entrance, sun rooms on two levels at one end; signed by the architect in the lower right corner of the image. Klinkhart, a New York native and Cornell University graduate, opened a branch office in Hagerstown Maryland, for M.I. Kast of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, in 1907 and practiced there until he retired. His projects included the Professional Arts Building in Hagerstown and the Hagerstown City Hall. Fine watercolor of the proposed hospital. (#7790). Item #60642
