Title and contents leaf, 24 photogravures of scenes from the Holy Land, each captioned and signed by the photographer in brown ink and protected with a tissue guard. All of the scenes are from Palestine: David's Tower, the Mount of Olives, Jerusalem street scenes, Bethlehem, Mount Tabor, the outlet of the Jordan from the Sea of Galilee, and others. OCLC locates one copy of this issue (Towson) and five copies of an issue of 110 photogravures, also published in 1921, in a portfolio. Very good. Original gilt-stamped suede boards, tied. (#7754).
