Small 4to. 1-16, 17-56, 57, (58), 69-70 pp. The author signed the preface (in type) "John Asplund / A Sweed / Southampton, Va., July 14, 1791." For this study, Asplund visited over 250 American congregations and travelled over 7000 miles, chiefly on foot; for each state, includes names of churches within each county, the name of its minister, size of the congregation, etc., with summaries, short descriptions of associations, an index, and a leaf of updated material and corrections.
