Printmakers Haasis & Lubrecht specialized in "incident-rich tributes," according to McNeely & Holzer's book "The Union Image: Popular Prints of the Civil War North" [UNC Press: 2000]. They produced maps as well as pictorial images of Civil War generals and political leaders in the second half of the 19th century.
OCLC lists two variant copies: Harvard [slightly larger at 90 cm., published by Charles Lubrecht only]; Indiana Hist. Soc. [Garfield's portrait, and the vignettes surrounding Lincoln's portrait differ from the copy offered here].
