Covers panelled and decorated with gilt tooling, spine richly gilt, with raised bands and gilt title. All edges gilt, with a colored painting of Castle of Arlornish, Argyle, hidden under the gilt fore-edges. Scattered foxing, offsetting from plates onto facing pages, spine darkened to brown.
