Original black cloth, gilt title on spines, damp staining to boards, and old tidelines to text. A good copy only. Early ownership signature and bookplate of James M. Anderson, Jr. in both volumes. Anderson saw service during the Civil War with the 30th Regiment NY Volunteer Infantry. Item #59849
