NP [Rulo, NE?]: np, nd (ca.1871). Broadside, 43 x 20 cm., text in various sizes and styles of type, enclosed in a black ruled border. Printed on buff paper, lightly creased from folding, a few tiny pinholes, probably from the press of type on the paper. The event was sponsored by the towns of Rulo, Falls City, White Cloud, and Arago. Music was to be provided by the "Excelsior Quadrille Band," gentlemen were to bring their ladies, and tickets to the dance, including supper, cost $2.50. A very nice copy. Item #59830

The town of Rulo, in southeastern Nebraska, was founded in 1858, on the banks of the Missouri River. OCLC lists only a couple of newspapers published in Rulo before 1872.
